Many children from low-income backgrounds in our communities face barriers that make it difficult to access opportunities that could help break the cycle of generational poverty and instead choosing to drop out of high school.

Our maiden project was a collaboration with Tennyson High School in Hayward, CA. We came in blazing hoping to show students how promising the world of tech is. We collaborated with speakers in the tech industry who came into the classroom and shared their experiences and stories.
The program originally started as an after school program but expanded into a fulled fledged Computer Science class.
Ravindra Punati was born and raised in a rural village in India. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Computer Science. He is now an engineer at ebay Inc. Throughout his life he has held a strong passion for learning and education. Through Power of Education, he intends to instill this passion in the next generation.
Sarojini Tati, also born and raised in India, completed her degree in Computer Science. Since then she has worked in the tech industry at various level and recently resigned from her role as Chief Technology Officer to take a break from the competitive work environment. Today, she uses her time to teach.
Varsha Punati was raised in California by Ravi and Sarojini and is currently studying her Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication Design. Her goal is to pursue a career in web design, while supporting her passion in mountain climbing. She life dream to climb the Seven Summits and experience life to the fullest.
Siva Chandrasekharan is the Senior VP of Engineering, leading Aria’s technology and engineering teams. Siva has more than 25 years of experience leading engineering efforts in tech companies. Siva began his career working for database company Sybase. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Madurai University.
Hari Ramineni was born and brought up in a rural village in India. He completed his Masters in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He is currently working as an Engineer at Lockheed Martin in California. He, like many others on the team shares a passion for technology and education.
Shankar Chebrolu is the Director of Security Architecture at Red Hat. Shankar is a co-founder and current President of the Cloud Security Alliance Triangle chapter and serves on the advisory board for cloud infrastructure program at Wake Tech Community College. Shankar holds a PhD in Information Technology.
